This is a affiche from the new J.J. Abrams Star Trek "reboot." I acclimated to be a Trek fan - never a full-on Trekkie could cause those humans are sad - but by now I've absolutely absent interest. Somewhere forth the band it went from getting a beautiful little TV appearance and cine authorization to a "mythos," and that's the base I get off at. You can't yield bits like that so abuse seriously...I apperceive it impresses the little awful fanboys with their apparel and their artificial Vulcan aerial but us layfolk who just wish a cackle can't abdomen that. This is why I can't angle M. Night Shyamalan. He comes up with accurate little B-movie account and treats them like he's accomplishing Ibsen. Does every appearance in every cine accept to be in the bosom of a complete afraid breakdown M. Night? Is anyone in your little dipshit cosmos anytime blessed or just in a almost appropriate mood? Abrams isn't about as bad as Shyamalan from what I've apparent so far...which isn't abundant (never watched Lost, saw Cloverfield and affectionate of admired it, array of enjoyed that one Mission: Impossible flick he directed unless I'm mistaking him for anyone else). It's accessible he will yield the Trek being and put a new aberration on it that doesn't assume like a absolute jerk-off and the cine will be altogether enjoyable. Actually, the a lot of adorable aftereffect would be for Abrams to absolutely go off the reservation, and accomplish a cine that so violates the vaunted Trek attitude that all the admirers wish to accept him tarred and feathered. I'd beam for a day beeline if that happened. |
